Anointed, Innovative, Radical and Revolutionary are some of the words often used to describe Pastor Mark S. Falls. This ministry driven man of valor has inspired believers in various states across the nation. He has a prolific mantle that distinguishes him as a remarkable visionary who has made a powerful impact in the Christian Arena.
Stepping out on faith, Pastor Falls founded Double Portion Baptist Church, Inc. The first service was held on Sunday, January 14, 2007, in Houston, Texas, at Refuge Vision Ministries Church. In just four short years, God has directed the paths of many to make Double Portion their home.
Pastor Falls is a pastor with a mission that is all inclusive, which is to “Empower the World through the Word.” He believes that the body of Christ should be empowered in every area of life. His preaching and teaching focuses on empowering believers spiritually, developing them educationally, and strengthening them economically.
Prior to his role as pastor, Pastor Falls served as a deacon at Fourth Missionary Baptist Church in Houston, Texas. It was at Fourth Missionary that his spiritual foundation was laid. In addition to being a deacon, Pastor Falls served as a drill team instructor, taught Sunday School, sang in the choir, and eventually accepted God’s call into the ministry in April 1995.
Today, his ecumenical messages have been heard by many. In addition to his many prestigious highlights, Pastor Falls also organized and founded the Fountain of Faith Church in Navasota, Texas on June 7, 2005 and now serves as an overseer. He is a member of the Union Baptist Association, Baptist General Convention of Texas, and Southern Baptist Convention.
While Pastor Falls has distinguished himself and attained great accomplishments, it is noteworthy to mention that he graduated from High School at the top of his class. He received a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, from Prairie View A&M University in which he is the current National Alumni Association President, and earned a Master of Theology degree from Houston Graduate School of Theology in Houston, Texas.
He is the proud husband of First Lady Andrea Renee Falls, and a devoted father to his precious twins, Mark II and Hannah, daughter, Marine SGT Alicia LaStar Ferrias, and new grandson “Carter”. No matter how he is described, Pastor Mark S. Falls is a man with a Kingdom agenda.
